This week we had to Bristol Motor Speedway, in my lifetime I have been fortunate to attend a couple Bristol races, but I won’t be attending this one as the weather doesn’t look like it’s going to cooperate. The short track is a fan favorite, almost every fan will tell you the best race to attend is Bristol. There is no repave this week, thank goodness. As a Patriots fan, two weeks ago,  I got the feeling that every other opposing NFL fan must get when the Patriots win, seeing Jimmie Johnson win at a Texas. How exciting? Not. Kyle Busch has dominated these races last couple seasons, didn’t reach victory lane in any of them, mostly due to bad luck. Below, are my picks for this weeks race at the Worlds Fastest Half Mile. I like to get my research from jayski.comdriveraverages.com, and the NASCAR mobile app.

Top Tier- Gpp & Cash

Kyle Busch- 10,600

Rowdy has dominated these races at Bristol over the past couple season, as leading into a series High 448 laps led. Kyle never reached Victory lane in any of those races, mostly due to bad luck as he was caught up in a wreck or a mechanical failure. Kyle posted the fastest 10 lap average in Happy Hour, Rowdy posted the second fastest practice time in practice1, and was 1st in the other two practice sessions. Qualifying was rained out so the field was set by points, he will start 8th. Lock Rowdy Busch in your lineup this week.

Jimmie Johnson- 9,700

Fresh off a much needed win at Texas for Jimmie and The Hendrick cars. Jimmie owns the best average finish at Bristol over the past 4 races. I always like to roll with Momentum in NASCAR. Jimmie posted the 5th fastest time in Happy Hour. I will roll with the momentum this week at Bristol with arguably The best driver NASCAR has ever seen. Mr. Seven Time will start 11th this Sunday.

Mid Tier- Gpp

Erik Jones- 7,800

This will be Jones first race at Bristol in the Cup series, but don’t let that scare you off this kid is super talented. In Jones first four Xfinity starts at Bristol, he qualified on the pole 3 out of the 4 races and won the Xfinity race last year holding off Kyle Busch and Kyle Larson. Erik Posted a top ten speed in all of the practice sessions, was 6th in Happy Hour. I love Erik Jones this week, he will start 14th.

Kasey Kahne- 7,600

In Happy Hour Kasey was the fastest out of all of his Hendrick Teammates as he was 3rd fastest. As I mentioned above with Jimmie, it seems like the Hendrick cars are starting to come along other than Chase Elliott, he has been solid all season. Kasey’s speed kept increasing with each practice session, was 13th in practice 1, 6th in practice 2, and 3rd in Happy Hour. Kasey Kahne will start 17th This Sunday.

Dark Horses- Gpp

Daniel Suarez- 7,000

The 19 car speed greatly increased every practice session. Practice 1 was 27th fastest, practice 2 was 16th fastest, and in Happy Hour was 2nd fastest. As you can see with each practice session Suarez got better and better. I know in this price range you’re probably surprised I didn’t write about Ricky Stenhouse Jr, but I never seen anything in practice times that would gravitate me towards him. I like Suarez more this week.

Chris Buescher- 6,700

Buescher average start at Bristol is 23.7 and with an average finish of 17. Buescher does have a top 5 finish here, he also flirted with a top 20 practice session in Happy Hour. Buescher will start 27th Sunday, and do not be surprised if he finishes in the top 5 or top 10 this weekend and he makes for a good place differential play for his price.

More Top Tier Drivers to Consider:
Kevin Harvick- 10,400
Kyle Larson- 10,100
Joey Logano- 10,000
Chase Elliott- 9,400

More Value drivers to Consider:
Ricky Stenhouse Jr- 7,100
Aric Almirola- 6,600
Cole Whitt-5,900
Matt DiBenedetto-5,700

Author: Acie Waller

Hello my friends, my name is Acie Waller. I am former athlete, I played football ( wide receiver ) in high school and college, won many award as senior in high school including a District MVP. I am now currently a group leader at a factory in Lexington, Ky. I am a diehard New England Patriots fan, and the Kentucky Wildcats, I also enjoy a left turn on Sunday’s from Feb to November, I am also a huge Kevin Harvick fan. On my days off I enjoy spending time with my family, watching a variety of netflix shows (Friday night lights, SOA, Gotham) and documentaries or studying film in hopes to gain that fantasy edge on my daily opponents. I also enjoy video games, mainly sports. NASCAR, madden, and NBA on my PS4. I have been playing fantasy in season long formats for 3 years now (NBA, NFL, NASCAR). Won the championship in my 2nd year in NFL, and runner up this year. I feel like being at former athlete in the football world gives me a big advantage in NFL of understanding schemes and coverages when it comes to daily fantasy football. And NASCAR I feel like being from the south and just being a diehard fan over the years, and as NASCAR is not a popular sport gives me an advantage as well. I have been playing daily fantasy sports as well for the last two years, I have won a some good payouts on draftkings over the last 6 months, I do have the 500 plus big win badge on draftkings where I have won a total of 2,500 bucks in 5 contests. I really like to only play gpps in NASCAR and NBA. NFL I like to play both, mainly about 70% Gpp and 30% for cash games. I’m really excited to bring my NASCAR knowledge to House Money, Should be an exciting year in NASCAR, and looking forward sharing my knowledge in hopes to bring you guys some huge payouts.
