This is going to be short and sweet. Today’s slate has 10 games. Six are in the early slate and four are in the main slate. I’m guessing Baseball did not want to lose ratings tonight to the first round of the NFL draft.

Since most the games are in the early slate, this will be quick and not have a lot of numbers. Why? Well, because we are down a writer right now and I did not plan for so many games this morning. I do not have time to type all of this out. We will have our normal main slate article later today too.

PITCHERS

Noah Syndergaard  Matt Harvey
Carlos Martinez
Justin Verlander

These are the three guys I’m considering for the early slate. Let’s face it though. I’m playing Syndergaard in 75 percent of my lineups though. Julio Urias is interesting too. A lefty against the Giants in AT&T Park is ideal. However, this is Urias first start of the season and I am worried he will be on an innings limit or low pitch count. NOTE: Noah Syndergaard scratched again. Matt Harvey now best pitcher on the early only slate.
